SUMMARY OF PRESENTATIONS AND DISCUSSIONS Prof. Sergio Bortolani (Project Director): welcomed all the participants and presented the SAA (School of Management) and the "Micro Finance at the University" project. He further presented an overview of the Micro Credit sector in the World. Dr. Marco Elia (Project Academic Assistant):
presented the project website with a focus on future developments. Prof. Samir Abuznaid and Prof. Fadi Kattan (Palestine): presented their universities (Hebron and Bethlehem University), the economy overview of the region and the Micro Finance sector in Palestine. Prof. Abdel Raheem Mubarak Hashem (Egypt): described the October 6 University, the Egyptian economy and the state of the art of the Micro Finance sector in Egypt. Prof. Ezzedine Abaoub and Prof. Abdelfettah Bouri (Tunisia): presented their universities, the Tunisian economic framework and the current situation in the field of Micro Finance in Tunisia. Dr. Jorge Eduardo Arbulu Carrasco (Spain): presented the University of Navarra - IESE and the results of his studies in the field of Micro Finance.
